I find enough lamination errors that I don't usually buy them, but this one fit in nicely with some of what I've got so I threw in a bid on ebay. Got it for a most reasonable $10 plus shipping.

Very nice! Reminds me of a Memorial cent example I have that's very similar to this one, but covers the opposite half of the coin.

I'm so glad I didn't see that one, or maybe not. (taking a break and trying to organize collection) But man that's a very nice one for the price....

I like it! Had I seen it on ebay I'd have taken a shot at it. I've been too busy of late looking at Canada '67 proof-like sets.

Nice coin TB. ijn what are you looking for on those Canadian coins? I've been looking a little at ebay lately and as far as picks go it has been dry for me, got a really nice DDR coming in the mail soon!

That's the fun with auctions. Sometimes no one is looking and you get a good deal, other times someone else really wants it and you go to war. I figured this one, as obvious as it is, just slipped by when no one was really looking as the price was really low for what it is.

Coop, this one is going more or less right beside that 1956-D in my collection. I hadn't seen images of that other 1944 before but it's a dandy as well.

The date really isn't obvious at all in the photos, but it is 1944.
