I believe this is is DDO / DDR, Grease Filled Die, as well as misspelled. Anyone know if I am correct?

Looks like it's so worn that I doubt it.

Not an error, just environmental damage. Possibly buried at one point?

It's very unlikely that there is a spelling error on that coin.

to CCF. I agree with the others, but a full coin pic, front and back might help. Please crop and rotate photos properly before posting.

To the CCF

It is impossible to have a misspelled word unless it was on the die in
which case all the coins struck would be misspelled.
I don't see where the Grease Filled Die is, not a DDO.
Can't comment on the DDR as you don't t show the reverse.
Just looks like a well worn quarter with some environmental damage.

Has all the appearance of a classic well-circulated quarter (dings, hits, wear), with a robust degree of environmental damage.

If only that quarter could talk.

When it was found it was a brown color.

When circulated, they turn dark in color. Some may carry them for a time to make them look antique.

But they were normal coins, that had a tough life living homeless for a time.
