He got a steal of a deal on that coin thought it would be $3 million.
There are 13 remaining coins in the Eliasberg Quest. The two coins shown in BOLD are required to complete the Hall of Fame "Complete 1792 to Present Registry Set". The remaining 11 coins are required for a Historically Complete US Collection equal to the accomplishment that Louis Eliasberg achieved around 1950.

So almost to Eliasberg but under a dozen coins shy of making it. I know he eclipsed it in quality, but not in completeness - yet. I don't know how I was so out of the loop on where he had gotten with the collection, but I'm glad I've got the time to be going through the 65 page thread, his coins are all so amazing, and he has added so many since I last remember looking at them, (probably 2 years ago). I love that he is so open with his collection, the opposite of so many collectors today, (yet understandable with a need for security).
