This just came in and is my best cherrypick at only $25. Would it grade a 2 or possible 3?

I think it makes AG-03. I am not an expert on this series, but this might be the "Open 3" variety, and if so, you have yourself a very valuable coin even in this grade.

Looks like the open 3 variety to me...wow

What do you mean by "this just came in"?

I would say AG- 3. Nice score!

Maybe the TPG will agree, too!

It was an ebay auction for a 6 coin lot and they all looked like this one. The sellers images were not that good and I won the auction at $148. The coins came in/arrived in the mail and confirmed what I thought it was.

Just make 100% sure that this example is not an altered closed 3 type, then deliberately disguised by wearing it down.

The bottom part of the 3 looks very fat, and close to the rim.

Nevertheless, let's hope it is in fact, an open 3.
