Just wondering how many of you guys/gals carry pocket pieces and of what with you everyday?

Me: Left-hand side pocket pieces, right-hand side pocket for daily change received.

I always carry a 23 Peace dollar, 1903 Barber dime and a few (8 to 9) Indian and 1943 PDnS Cents (cents to hand out to kids at my work, with parents approval of course)

A 90% silver quarter should be enough.
Doesn't matter to much if you loose it.
Just beware: it could become a dryer coin!

Sometimes, I put an interesting coin in a 2x2 and keep it in my wallet instead, and show it to those who may be interested.

It is possible to buy a genuine 2,000 years old Widow's Mite for around $20 or so - not a big investment.
That sort of coin really appeals to a wide audience!

Been carrying a 1976 US dollar and random Canadians dollar and .50 pieces that I give away or use for change. When I pull out the US dollar people here can not believe the size and weight of it.

Right pocket..... I carry a set of keys to my 2004 Frontier that has 277000 miles on it.

Left pocket..... I carry a 3 1/2" Case Chestnut bone Stockman's pocket knife that my Dad gave me about 20 years ago.

In my billfold I carry a few old red seal $2's and $5's as emergency money/special tip money. I have to replenish that money every once in a while!

Currently, today: 1921-S Morgan
1964-D Kennedy
1960-D Franklin half, which I added to the mix on April 7, my Dad's 60th birthday. For his birthday I sent him a circulated Franklin of the same date and mint mark to carry around for his birth year and also a 1960 proof set.

Recently added a scratched, ugly 1883 Morgan. Dipped the ugly off and now just giving it some natural wear. Starting to shine nicely. This one doesn't go with me every day but starting to get jingle time more frequently.

LOL, GF, for a minute there I thought I was on the wrong forum. After 40 years in law enforcement, I immediately thought guns, when I read "pocket pieces". I digress.

I carry a $2.00 bill under my badge and credentials. It is one my father and his sister used to pass back and forth on each others birthdays.

Don't carry a pocket piece anymore. I carried an old British Penny back in high school. Now-a-days, I just carry my loop.

My right pocket is for currency and pocket change. In my left, a small (~2.5") Hen & Rooster pocket knife, a 10x jewelers loop, and change I think might be interesting, but don't have time to examine in the moment. I've had a couple 1954 nickels bouncing around in there for the last couple months. Oh, and a couple beer chips I haven't been able to use for the last couple months.

Have seen a small Bible that was carried as a pocket piece, in a police museum.
It was carried in a shirt breast pocket over the heart.
Why a police museum?
It stopped a stopped a bullet. The Officer owes life to it.
