Small Morgan Dollar Replica? - Coin Community Forum

mkwilson New Member United States 17 Posts	Posted 06/19/2020 7:19 pm I received this coin from my mother in-law. It looks exactly like a Morgan dollar but is the size of a 50 cent piece. It weighs 15.6 grams, so heavier than a 50 cent piece. It looks identical to a Morgan dollar except for the size. The mint mark on the back doesn't look quite right and the eagle on the back is the same direction as the face on the front, not reversed like an actual Morgan dollar. Report this Post to the Staff
