You must get frustrated with us nubies I totally understand but I am not seasoned enough to make a true judgement oń this . Can u please explain what it is I have.

Not a Mercury dime but a Roosevelt dime, agree just damaged after it left the mint.

Note how the coin is not round. Looks like it was hit with a hammer. Well it is a Silver melt coin. So it is worth more than face. But not to a true collector.
