1926 Peace dollar in the older PCGS Green Label 'Rattler" slab. Just putting this up for grading to see if PCGS actually got it right back then. Color in the pictures is correct for the coin in hand. Hope pictures are good enough.

Wow, stunning. Despite the chin gash, this has to be MS-65 or even better.

I agree, looks good. Think it can push a 66.

The coin is much nicer but, I'm guessing the label says MS64.

PCGS is tough especially recently. the gash on the chin and field flaws around the date may hold it to MS65 and the reverse is a little blurry to really see the fields properly but I think it belongs in a MS66 slab

Here's the slab front. Here's where "Buy the coin not the slab" rings true...........

It's been said before...some coins in OGH's were graded very stingy...if cracked out and resubmitted you could possibly bump a grade (or 2 as others here have indicated)?
PCGS Price Guide (I know it's just a guide)
MS64 $225
MS65 $385
MS65+ $600
MS66 $1250
Just thought I'd throw that out there...?

She is a beaut!

Just putting this up for grading to see if PCGS actually got it right back then.

Technical point: "Getting it Right" is a misnomer. A cracked out coin resubmitted to the same grader is never guaranteed the same grade.

Why is that a big deal? Because newbies get the idea that the reputation of these companies is never to be questioned. In other words, they are not first taught to "buy the coin and not the slab."
