1982 Doubled Die Obverse...finally!

Scuba1 Valued Member United States 356 Posts	Posted 02/16/2021 12:50 am We all relish the opportunity to find the elusive 43' copper, 44' steel, 55', 58' DDO, etc.... But for me, this simple variety pictured, is what really peaked my curiosity and interest in searching for doubled dies. I'm not exactly sure why but it just did. I can't express or tell you how long I have searched for and so badly wanted to find this doubled die even though it's not an exceptionally major find (but for me it is!!). I was in the last few Cents of a common bank roll a little while ago and this guy showed up. I know it's not in the best of shape but I don't care. It will be a memory I won't soon forget.
