I'm guessing this is called a die break on the reverse. There are a number of discrepancies on the obverse and reverse, I'm not sure I know how to properly name them. I would appreciate any feedback. Should I have this coin graded? Is it worth it, also have there been any others like this reported? Thanks!

WOW! You found a winner. As far as having it graded it depends on what this could sell for. I'll let other members weigh in on that. Congrats on a great find. And to the forum

Very, very nice. While the coin wouldn't necessarily grade in the high MS range, having it in a PCGS slab (for example) might give the coin's numismatic appeal a bit of a boost. Your call.

Wow! Very nice find!
Not a retained interior die break, but definitely a split die. These seem to be very rare and I have not seen this exact one until now.
I would try to get it listed on cuds-on-coins first, then consider grading. I know ANACS would label it with the cuds-on-coins designation and note it as a discovery piece if you provide them with documentation (A print out of an email from cuds-on-coins works).

Incredible die break, but all Philadelphia pennies have no mint mark except for 2017.

I received this email a little while ago... Hi Jason, I listed it as SD-1c-2020-01R Split Dies On 1 Cent Coins : Cuds on Coins (cuds-on-coins.com) Thanks for the images, JC Stevens Thanks*Stoneman227* for initially suggesting the Cuds on Coins site and others such as In1944,john1,coop,coinfrog,and jimmyd they have all commented on more than one of my coins and see they've commented on many various members coin posts also. Without assistance from people like yourselves, coinlexic fellers like myself would be lost not knowing what to do with certain coin issues. I won't be a noob forever but I got me some index cards and took a lot of notes today and I also watched that video that Element47 told me about, thanks for that by the way. Y'all have a great evening thanks again I'll keep posting my Coins with a little more insight, and I'll try to do my homework before I just go throwing coins around LOL!!!!
