All I can say is that it was a stroke of luck! I got it in my change and have less than a year in on collecting, I'm glad I check my change every night when I get home, actually I look forward to checking my change when I get home lol. I'm definitely becoming addicted to collecting tho I haven't decided on a set yet. I enjoy the variety, even though it's hard to keep up with. The videos I watched said to start with small sets and start with the most expensive coin and work your way backwards, me I'm just going to get a whole bunch of different coins and when I noticed I start getting a bunch of one more than others that's the set I'm going for I think LOL. Anyhow I'm happy I found this coin and hopefully I find many more!!!!

Awesome a modern split die is unheard of. Here's my best die crack. The only one on a Washington I've ever seen or heard about but yours takes the cake!! http://goccf.com/t/332732Kits the next step is roll searching. Since there was one of those in your area there might be more around.

to the CCF! That's a great coin! Congrats on the listing. I have a few coins that are listed on Cuds-On-Coins. Somewhere in my collection is a shattered reverse die nickel III˘ piece that I will image and submit IF I CAN EVER FIND IT AGAIN! I really have too many error coins.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

I am late to respond, but it is worth.
In mid 1999 the mints England, US and Canada start to mint with full computited machines. Not only laser drived, but also with a very sophisticated software, which read every stroke. This check for alignment, force applied, elasticity etc. Me I say errors, so anything abnormal the operator will see and press the eject button which make that all batch to go to the recycle bean.
To find this kind of coins now for me it is a mystery of the technology. Could happen, nothing perfect but those coins will be a gral.

Well I turned a nice profit on this coin!!! It went for $130.00 on Mercari. Someone in Texas was a very satisfied customer, they loved the piece for their collection!! HAPPY HUNTING EVERYONE!!!!

My son found apparent sibling to the original post coin in our first coin roll hunting of $50 of pennies. Is this amazing?
