IF it has not been cleaned I can see it going MS-65.

I'm good with a strong MS64+. A check of sold '23 Peace dollars on ebay suggests that $30 isn't bad at all.

Good grief. At $30, does it have any siblings that would like to get adopted? Nice one for that price!
Typical strike. Dipped, not over-dipped, not cleaned. Nice luster, and not too many milk spots. The obverse makes MS-65 easily. The reverse has some contact marks on the eagle's right wing, and probably is MS-64. I agree with @ijn1944, the net grade looks MS-64+.

She did fort, she had 6 sisters and a step sister morgan, but I've adopted them all This one is by far the nicest one of the bunch, the rest range from 62-64. The responses so far surprise me a bit, I guess I'm being overly optimistic. In hand the obverse blows me away, miles better than the PCGS 65 of the same year that recently passed through my hands. The reverse is obviously weaker than the obverse, but I still had thought it should pass at 65 fairly easily.

MS-64 without a doubt...probably MS-65...MS-66? I think it's the dilemma a lot of us face...you know what it is...you know what it should be...you know what it could be... Comparing graded coins to raw coins...we always see the flaws in graded coins and think...if this one got this mine should get this...? And it makes perfect sense...but like you know...doesn't always turn out that way...
Are you thinking about sending her in or is it an album coin?
Either way...Nice pick up!

I cannot see any reason for not being MS65.

notice what appears to be surface luster removed from the area I noted and the scratches across the rays. this concerns me as it could be from an isolated cleaning since those scratches cross over the devices.
MS64+ possibly details. in either case good price

The dies are a little fatigued but that shouldn't stand in the way of the grade. She's dipped but market acceptable, and an easy gem, but for that tiny cut under her eye. MS64.99999.

This just went off to PCGS if anyone else wants to submit thoughts. I'm still at MS-65 for it.

I'll put 30 space bucks on MS-64.
