Poll Question
As I continue to fill my customized 7070 I'm faced with a dilemma. My moderns page is all proofs, and I am trying to decide on a silver eagle to include.

Here are the contenders:

2019-W Enhanced Reverse Proof
---Pro: Adds the only reverse proof to the type set. Lower cost.
---Con: Reverse proof stands out strongly from the proofs.

2020-W V75 Privy Proof
---Pro: First ever privy mark. Proof fits in with others.
---Con: About 3-4x the price.

Which do you think is the better choice? Any further arguments for or against that I neglected?

Option 3, keep it simple and cheap. Don't overprice, or overcomplicate.

I hear you! But, this type set well and truly is essentially my entire collection, so given the option to include something that isn't represented elsewhere (a privy mark or a reverse proof) is too good an opportunity to pass up.

Also, to clarify, the price of either isn't prohibitive, but I'm not going to run blindly into buying a $300 eagle without a bit of discourse first

I'd go with the one that matches the rest of your proofs well.
Rest in Peace

Photoshop an image of each into your image of the page it's going into and see if one wins out over the other aesthetically.

I suggest waiting until next year and then buy the 2020-W V75 if you still want it (and not another regular proof coin). Prices will invariably come down after the hype of today.

Option 4: circulation cameo. Probably rarer than either of those options.

All jokes aside, I like the other ideas here. See how they look together and wait for the price to calm down before you pony up for the coin it sounds like you want.

I've picked up regular proof ASE for under $60, I would get one of those.

Or you can go nuts and get 1996 W Reverse Proof or 2019 S-erp

I hear you, but boy does that reverse proof finish look good!

However, uniformity is a strong motivator.

I have the 2019 in my the Pride of Two nations set and the 2020 I bought singly. I do prefer the 2019 over the 2020. However, I think the overall aesthetic is important for your set. If you can afford it, go with the pricier 2020.

But then I'll have to snag the 2020-W, the 2019-W, and the 2013-W to represent the types I don't have!

Who am I kidding? I'm definitely going to

Having now done this, the reverse proof definitely stands out and I don't think that's the best idea.

Aesthetics definitely won out, but to listen to all the advice, I'll definitely take some time and watch prices, see if it manages to drop down at all.

....and I think I'll have to get a slabbed 2019W just so I can own it too
