@rog, first welcome to CCF. Second, I'm sorry to hear about your difficulty with uploading a second pic. The first one came through fine. From just this one, it looks like your coin was damaged after it left the mint. We will know more when we see the other side though.

Yes, a rather mutilated Wheat cent. Not a mint error. Appears, perhaps, a potion of the coin was exposed to intense heat a good while back. Looking forward to the obverse photo.

Do you have something? Yeah, a damaged coin. It wasn't struck like that.

I usually call PMD if the toning on the area in question is not the same as the other area if the metals are the same. Donīt use this if the coin has an unrelated stain on the questioned area.

 to CCF @Rog66: in order to submit more pictures, you have to be in the 'full Reply' dialog box. To get to this box you will see 3 options just below the area where you type in your replies. they are labeled as: 'Submit Re[ply' 'Preview Reply' and 'Switch to full Reply' Click on switch to full reply and you will see more things you can do to reply to posts - including 'Upload Image Images must be under 300KB.'
