Looks like there is oil on the coin? Note all the floaties on the 2X2? Remove the coin and press a tissue of soft cloth to absorb the oil and either replace th 2X2 of wipe off the inside of the 2X2 to remove the fuzzies. Don't rub the coin, trying squeezing it it between something to remove the oil, with out putting fingerprints on the coin. Again, Don't rub the coin. If there is one piece of sand on the coin on any debris, it will scratch the surface of the coin. (Just like sandpaper) practice safe coin handling.

Love it. That one looks like the treads from a Sherman tank ran across the reverse.

I was out for some days, sorry and nice to find you again.

Nice coin on look: but not delamination. I thing Coop say about ghost delamination, and it is right. Look at the perfect strait lines and the pattern of the strides between the demarcation of the say delamination. Physically could not happened.

Still be a nice looking coins and to keep.

Happy back @Silviosi - Most DeLams/Lams I see are in a straight line - like a strip. Was this a delam before or after the strike?

@ Rothery, thanks first for welcome back, second for supper challenging question.

It is not the question of before or after the strike. It is the question of the metallic structure. In 40 was 95% Cu if I am not wrong. the cooper has a cubic structure, so any delam will show this pattern. here I see very rounded and following sequences. I can not pronounce was before or after the strike; but due to the fact I do not see no evidence of strike on this part I will say after.
