Here is the other nice coin I bought at our recent coin show in Fresno, CA. It has nice original surfaces IMO with a fair amount of luster remaining around the periphery. It's hard to see in the photo but LIBERTY is complete and easily read in-hand.

Thoughts on grade and quality?

Thanks!

I'll say VF/EF details (cleaned).

VF35-XF40, undecided on it being a straight grade due to the cleaning.

I'd say VF-30, old cleaning, probably market acceptable.

XF Details Cleaned The hairlines on obverse will most likely get it a details grade.
Great eye appeal.

I'm at EF45 to AU50 I believe it's more of a weak strike than wear on this one, it still has luster in the fields hiding next to the devices. A superb type set coin!

VF25-VF30. Old cleaning, but probably will grade problem-free.

I dabble a little in the double dime, excellent undervalued series date but the auction results show some collectors have caught on. I see AU details cleaned (lightly). PCGS is hyper finicky on these but even lightly cleaned an AU example goes fairly fast. I like this coin, the 1876 P even more. Sold my 1909 S MS v.d.b. to buy the 75 76 P's and a solid CC all in PCGS straight grade. The 09 S v.d.b. is a great issue but there's alto of them out there, I get more mileage out of the doubled dime.

I really think this will come back tagged with a cleaned designation. Good looking coin though.
