I don't see any errors on the quickest of glances, but this is a keeper! Only 2,000,000 of each of the "W" quarters were minted, and they were all dumped into circulation. Worthy of a 2 x 2.

A 2x2 is a flip--a folding piece of thin cardboard with mylar-covered, coin-sized holes designed to hold a coin.

2 x 2 is one of those "coin flips" or holders that will help protect the coin from the environment. If you don't have a local coin store you can sometimes pick up a small package of 2 x 2s in the hobby section at certain bookstores. Or Google "coin 2x2" and find them on Amazon.

Very nice find. I was having no luck finding any in my change, so I was able to buy a box of quarters from my bank and was lucky enough to find one W quarter. http://goccf.com/t/402175&whichpage=1

Congratulations John on your find. I finally found a coin that maybe worth something for my grandbabies. Lol. But I'm still looking for that special one.

Looks like a nicer die state strike on your coin. We so often see the worse, but fail to recognize if the earlier die state coins.
