Nice find John.
I see even the Philly cents are greasy too.
Is that a crack up through the VDB?
The right arm of the Y is bigger or is the other arm reduced ?
I have trouble with these.

Looks like the obverse devices are all normal in size. (note the full shot image) A lot of glare on your images, but I expect the 2X2 is causing that issue. The more distortion these single squeeze cents are noticed:

Note that not only are these devices enlarged, but also distorted as well. Note the closed devices are smaller, the overall shape is distorted. Kind of like a Bicycle tube when over inflated:

Look for this in your searches. Keep in mind that the centers of the devices are where to look for this. Looking too long at the outside edges of the coins is a waste of time. Look for the spread in the centers of the devices. That is where is will be going on.

No crack by VDB,just poor quality pics. Not in a 2x2,just sitting on one, glare is an issue. On liberty, the t and y look thicker on the verticals and the upper left are is thicker. I did compare to another 2021. Saving it none the less.

Well, I had a hard time finding it. But it well illustrates the point:

Knowing to look for the distortion, helps to know what to look for.

Nice one @john1. I agree worth saving in a 2x2.

Nice spike there John. I definitely believe I am seeing doubling /notches on the bottom right of the legs of RTY. That is a hot spot for doubling on these shield cents.

Nice find, John1! As has been said, you can see the notching and like you noticed, the left arm of the Y is larger. Nice spike head to go along with it. Is there anything going on with the date? Sometimes you will see it on both the east and west side of the coin. Here is one I found recently with light distortion and notching on the date but I don't remember anything on RTY.

Note on the date, it looks like slight MD on the left side, DDD starting on the right side of the devices. The bottom of the last '1' might be a DDO? Depending on it damage or hub doubling. So you can have all three events going on at the same time, but makes it more questionable when it does happen. Sometimes the hub doubling can be too minor to be considered. But a stronger spread is more desirable. If you are considering buying a coin for a premium, you might pass if Machine Doubling is present. Or a later die state might be a reason to pass on to a better coin. Split plating, fingerprints, stained and what ever problem, you might was to find a better example, or not having to deal with a problem coin. Be selective. Know what you are buying before you buy.

My point-n-shoot camera was not available, I use that for full coin shots. I do not use my usb microscope enough anymore, I have become rusty...like my joints
