I know not the greatest does have wear. If you look at the second 0 in 2000 is that an error or scratch. And how can I tell the difference for future reference. Please and thank you. I'm also curious around the eye area.

99% of incuse marks on coins are coin damage. 1% Are mint errors. Spender for sure.

To your coin question, based on your photos, it looks more like a scratch instead of an error, since a die gouge would be raised on the coin, while a scratch would be depressed into the coin. Ironically, you could also have the very popular "wounded Eagle" which is indeed a die gouge located precisely on the eagles midsection, on the reverse, online photos will show you what it looks like.

2000 P Sac....the reverse is where you want to find a die crack...Use the search box "speared eagle"....

Yes I know of the wounded eagle I've compared mine to pics. I don't believe mine is one. I second guessed my self on the front. The coin itself is not in good condition but I do thank you for the heads up and opinions.
