I am very new to the coin collecting hobby. I recently found this 1983 with some errors...I hope! It looks like there is an issue with "Liberty" and "God We" on the obverse, as well as a large Cud on the reverse over "One Cent". It also looks like there is an unknown to me issue under the United on the reverse. Any assistance is appreciated. Hopefully I figured out the image posting....not very tech savvy!! Thanks all for your help and patience as I learn this forum!! Edited by Ruckus1005 12/04/2021 2:13 pm

Very nice Cud. The mark on the li looks like damage from a coin roll crimper. The line thru uni might be a die crack. But it's the Cud that makes this a good find. Check on Cuds ON Coins, I'm sure it's listed.

Nice Cud! The strike weakness on the obverse is a result of the reverse Cud. photos are decent though a little too much glare on the reverse photo.

Super cool! That is a massive Cud and listed in the CPG as FS-401. The counter clash is the lettering above the date you can see. -CH27

Wow, I say wow. If you're new to the hobby and hit this monster as one of your first finds that is absolutely remarkable. Exceedingly rare type II counterclash, and it always comes with that giant Cud. Just an amazing find. May your luck continue.

I agree with Bats and all the others. As I slowly scrolled down to look at the image I noticed the weakness to GOD WE and realized a Cud was involved with that weakness and when I saw the reversed LIB over the date I knew we were gonna be realllllly happy to see this one. Thanks for posting a great variety that is exceedingly rare. (Probably in the range of a couple of hundred even in this AU condition.)
