Hey Crew, joined the Forum after seeing the old post on the 1964-D E PLURI"D"US UNUM.

http://goccf.com/t/283219

I am a very long time collector of Jefferson nickels and happened to purchase one of these several years ago. After, seeing it in Breen, had to have one. I finally did and checked it off my list. I happened to pull it out the other day and said, "who else has one"?

I know there are multiple examples out there and was curious who else has one and share pictures? Below is mine.

Thanks

This is a neat variety of a grease-filled die.

(Didn't even know of them and it's always fun to learn about new ones.)

Just an over polished die issue. Nothing as a premium for this.

Someone posted this on the PCGS Forum after resurrecting an earlier post of mine.

I still have to stretch my imagination on how this particular letter "D" was so meticulously abraded and not impact any other letters.

I would still love a higher grade for one if these...maybe MS!

Coll find. I seem to remember years ago on this forum there was a debate about these.
