First, the Trueview pics. They lie, of course, but for sake of argument, how would you grade?

The scratch on the reverse is big enough that it might details the coin.

I'll say AU - Details scratched

I'll say AU53 as well. I see some noticeable wear on hair around ear and further.
For some reason, I'm expecting some very different pictures showing that issue.
Coin looks nice enough here so far for me.

Looks cleaned. Couldn't see those hairlines in the first photos.

Those obverse scratches were effectively doctored over on the first pic. Just enough of them showing for plausible deniability. The mottled toning, too, was evened out.

I think the coin rightfully avoids a details grade, but not by much. The surfaces are deliberately misrepresented in the Trueview pics, which are borderline fraudulent.

It's amazing to me that Trueview has any credibility in the numismatic community at all.

I am at MS-62.
Were the dies made very shoddily back in 1851? Because the text "DOLLAR" seem to be tilted all over the place.

I wouldn't say "shoddily", but yes there was an absence of precision. Remember that these coins are very, very small.
