This coin appears MS so I don't believe this is damaged outside of the mint. I'm no expert on proof buffalos but could this be a proof? It also has a die crack on the chin on the obverse

I'm curious if there are any mint error collectors out there that have an opinion on this coin. I know that there are known DDR and DDO coins but I have not found any varieties that have both double dies? Does anyone know if this could be a proof? I'm not sure how to tell if it's a proof.

There were no proofs made in 1935. Also note the later die state. This would not be seen in proofs given the lower mintage. Dies we're not used long enough to shows this extent of deterioration.

I do not see a DDO or DDR. What I do see is Die Deterioration Doubling and a bit of MD. Neither of which carry a premium and both are relatively common to see in Buffalo nickels, especially Die Deterioration Doubling in LDS examples.

Regardless, it's looks to be a nice example. Keep hunting, they're out there.

Look carefully at the closeup pictures from your microscope screen. Do you see the interference lines taking a picture of a screen causes? These lines keep us from seeing the details we need to see in order to give a good opinion.

Instead take a screenshot and post that - do not post pictures of screens please.

Appears to be Die Deterioration by the date and EPU with some Machine Doubling on the latter, followed with reflective digital light on the devices in Liberty giving illusion of doubling with the reflection.

Looks like Machine Doubling. Not the affected areas are not the centers of the devices, but the outside/insides that are affected by Machine Doubling.
