Ok folks, before I jump off the cliff, I need help with this 1955P as it has some unusual traits. First Lincoln's forehead has a large Die Chip above the eyes to the hairline. Second there is a problem with the IGWT running next to the rim. This complicates my DDO-002 call because it is hard to see the doubling on the motto. To top that off the date shows doubling which calls for a poor man's DDO. Also, the coin is worn and bright.
So, give a fellow a hand here! Look at the pics and let me know your thoughts. Regards!

The Ridge Ring as well as devises show Die Deterioration. Not seeing the 002.

Old worn die used to make this coin. Good call on the poor man's DD, not seeing anything special.

Agree with those above. What's going on with the forehead looks kind of like a lam but is not typical....

I see MD and DD, maybe a Ridge Ring forming through IGWT, and a RIDB on Lincoln's head.
I see no MD, agree there is much Die Deterioration along with lighting issues, which may be why you think you see MD, Ridge Ring is a term associated with zinc coins that are copper plated and you may be right about the RIDB but the circulation has made that tough to tell.

This is not DDD. DDD happens on the single strike dies. This is an example of an excessively worn die. The DDO-002, looks like this, but this was from normal die. On the DDO-002 there is spread on the devices:
1955-P-DDO-002-Lds-A-Bit-Unusual
1955-P-DDO-002-Lds-A-Bit-Unusual
Your coin was one of the extreme worn dies that was seen a lot on the 1950's wheat cents. Not a DDO-002.
