Greetings again One & All! More toning questions from everyone's favorite noob. Heh! Came across three quarters with what my untrained eye sees as varying levels of toning. Thoughts on what I've got here? Included a comparison image at the bottom of all three next to a V75 W quarter to see the color variations. And if you guys see more than toning (errors and whatnot) please advise. I am going through a metric Butt-Ton of coins and am overwhelmed with all the variations/varieties/errors that I should be looking for. My NewbieBrain is about to explode! Heh! Thanks again for your knowledge/expertise and time.

Guessing these are all products of different environmental conditions. I don't see any upside potential, but hardly costs anything to keep them. to the CCF!

First welcome to CCF. Second, I agree with the frog, but for me personally these would be spenders.

You can actually make these yourself - bury them in flowerpots with different kinds of soil (potting, straight top, etc,) for a few months and bingo!

I would send them back into the wild, myself but like Coinfrog said, low cost. If you like them, keep them.

Of course, the "W" mint quarter has a premium, but you didn't specifically ask about that one.

the 'W' set aside (which isn't toned) I would agree with Spence and spend them. (saving the 'W' of course.)

So anything that rainbow would prob be PMD also? I have one that appears to be exposing the copper and yellowish and green coloring. I'll make a post with it. I think it might be chemical exposed. I'm unsure.

Just spenders.
@Jake: Been expose physically to different agent is not same thing with what you say Rainbow. One is direct contact with substances and the Rainbow toning is latent process of the atmospheric composition and temperatures. Here the majority of us we mistake. Then the "Rainbow" toning is happened in close coin environments like caps, slabs or rolls. The first it is in free environment.
