I'm evaluating a collection for a friend & will probably make an offer on some or all. I'm second guessing myself on some of these & need more opinions. I have the option of sending coins off to be graded before I make a decision but it would be on my own dime. Would rather not do that without a good idea it would be worth it. Hopefully the pictures are good enough for another opinion.

Doesn't make G4 due to incomplete rims IMO
My grade would be AG3
That being said, it is a key date and a very valuable coin and the TPG's would likely give it a "key date bump" to G4

Technically AG-3 but so close to being G-4. PCGS has this at $2250 in AG-3 and $2575 in G-4.

I think it has a shot at G-4, seems like the keys dates get some leeway in grading as do colonials.

All devices clear and readable. Putting a big bet on G-04.
Rest in Peace

I did a quick search on ebay completed for a coin like this and the average sold price is about $2100 slabbed, less if it is raw.

It's a bourse floor haggler. AG-03 if I'm a buyer, G-04 if I'm a seller, split the price difference and do the deal. Pretty decent eye appeal for the grade. The reverse rim ding at 1:30 is the only noticeable knock.

Rims are pretty gone. I'll say AG-3 but certainly a shot at G-04. Straight grade.

I sent this one off to ANACS & they just posted grades. They said rim damage, cleaned, & gave it an AB. I think AB is the new AG details.
