I've had this coin for over 20 years and I wonder if CCF agrees with the original PCGS grade. What are your grading thoughts and general comments?

If it was graded 20 years ago then I'd say 45.
Graded today I'd say 50.

I'd say EF-56 as well. Handsome coin.

i think there is not enough there to make 45 so I'm at XF40

I actually agree with the original PCGS grade but it seems that similar coins get 45 and even 50 grades these days. I do think it's an above-average example, with excellent color and unmolested surfaces. Hopefully I'll keep it around for another 20 years!

Late to the party, but that's a nice looking Dahlonega! I agree with the upstream comments, this would be EF-45 today.

I said EF- 56 for some unknown reason, both numerical keys to the right of 45, which I meant. Anyway, super nice coin
