Obverse looks like a struck through a capped die, later cap thinning. Two different issues. Report this Post to the Staff
mikediamond Pillar of the Community United States 2737 Posts	Posted 05/20/2022 9:46 pm I see three sets of clash marks, each progressively more misaligned. While multiple, misaligned clash marks are not particularly rare, the maximum extent of the lateral shift in this specimen is unusual. It appears that the hammer die returned to center prior to the strike that generated this coin. Error coin writer and researcher.
