And unless a coin has a value of around 100-150 or so, you come out on the short end with grading. The companies also do not like handing out the "money" grade levels. The less there are on the market for each coin, the more people will pay them to slab their coin to try to get a "money" grade.

Theory only? I have posted in the past a local dealer who spent some time polling fellow dealers who sent in monster boxes of ASEs. Not only could the MS70s they got back be found to have obvious dings etc., but the percentage per monster box of MS 70 slabs was consistent across all the dealers he polled and asked to check.

He was convinced by this that they just scoop out a percentage, slap on an MS70 sticker, and the rest are given a lesser grade.

He challenged me to start looking at MS70 ASEs to see its was not hard to find some with obvious dings etc. He was right...it was not hard.
How much squash could a Sasquatch squash if a Sasquatch would squash squash?

Too many hits and the fingerprints would also affect the grade on this coin. As mentioned it is not a DDO. So I would spend $50 to slab a few dollar coin.

MS-64 Value on this one $18 with a $32 loss for you and $50 gain for them.
