New 1909 Indian Head Cent Variety - Misplaced 1 - Possible Proof!

picc Valued Member United States 74 Posts	Posted 06/17/2022 2:10 pm I recently acquired this Indian Head cent. It has a very peculiar line below the 9 in the date. Has anyone ever seen anything like this or know what variety it is. It is extremely lustrous and might even be a proof. It has like 50% wire rims on both sides. Let me know what you think! If you can find other examples with the same die chip, Rick Snow might give it a variety. I say might as it's not a variety I think many would hunt for.
