As asked I'm posting all my inherited coins as separate threads for grading. Also, I'm not a coin collector, so it would be helpful if I could get a dollar amount estimate to go along with the grade.

The 1807 Capped Bust half dollar is the more desirable small stars variety and also grades about vf30 with a weak strike on the eagle. The bust half is worth about $1,200. Also very original and in demand by collectors.

this is a Capped Bust half dollar. this is the first year of issue for this type and is the small stars variety. the coin is weakly struck on both sides which is typical for these early pieces. this one is a little more tricky to grade and you are going to get grades all over the place. the lettering and date is very sharp. the star centers are still there on many of them. i think the will net grade at about VF30. it could be higher but go with that. I'm with NS on value at about $1200-1300

Very weakly struck centrally, but the lettering, stars, and denticles are all very sharp. I'd say VF-35.

Average weak strike, which is common for this year of issue. This coin looks like a VF-30, with nice even wear to both sides. This variety is the O-113, with a rarity of R-2, which is slightly uncommon at 500-1000 known examples. A solid, problem free coin which I give an estimate of about $1,000 as-is.
This would be a fantastic coin to hold on to long term, as the stated mintage of 750,000 certainly overstated, and problem free examples are getting difficult to locate in the mid grades.

I think it makes VF-30. Very nice looking coin, and a fairly tough variety.
