I thought Machine Doubling isn't raised and even with the primary doubling. Is that wrong?

Part of the problem is in the pictures posted. Taking a picture of a microscope screen introduces horizontal lines into the picture (raster lines). Those lines hide important details.
If you scope is stand alone, it should have a memory card slot to store pics and then transfer them to the computer and post the.
If your scope attaches to your computer, then take a screenshot using the computer and post that.

Completely understand the photo comment. I am trying and still learning, even the microscope its still new to me and when I've tried my phone and crop it it comes out blurry in the section I'm trying to show. I'll have to hunt down a cable and see if I can do it through my computer. Thanks for thar tip! Appreciate all the feedback. Newbie learning here :)

Yes this looks like a DDO to me too—the pics aren't great, but several of the letters are thicker (e.g. the T of TRUST). That doesn't happen with MD.

Thanks for the picture idea. I have a camera and I was about to go break that out just for this but it seems way easier. I'll make sure I try some of these tricks the next time! Totally appreciate it!

Yep, first glance without looking at others replies, I too thought DDO something; I know Machine Doubling also exists in this date obverse, but it didn't quite look like it to me. I even think it is possible to have DDO and Machine Doubling at the same time on the obverse.

I agree that it's a DDO and the images need work. I saw the same thing as Spence with the verticals being significantly thicker than the tops on the T's of TRUST. Blurry couldn't hide that thickness. LOL

It is a DDO. Newbielearning, now check all three reference sites and find the attribution number for it so you can label it correctly and train your eyes to see what a true doubled die looks like. John1
