If possible, please post a full--large and sharp image of the reverse. Helps to establish the full context of what we're looking at. Thanks.

Very nice find. A good looking die cap. I'm not sure what it could be worth, but, if you were to look for this type of error coin on ebay sold listings, you may get an idea of its worth..

Thank you I thought for sure this could be worth lil bit...I tried to answer Individually but not sure how to. Another question (get prepared lol) if I have a lot of one coin like the Mercury dime would I have to post individually to inquire about them

Quote: would I have to post individually to inquire about them Yes please--best practice is to start a new thread for each new coin. Thx!

@jen, as was mentioned in your other thread, much of the value in many collections is contained in the key and semi-key coins. For example, if you have a 1916-D Mercury dime, that is the one to post. Common date in well-circulated condition may be worth close to melt, but the keys will have a premium in any condition. As you learn more about your coins, you will get a feeling as to which ones are the valuable ones.

Not a die cap. But a struck through a late stage die cap. The difference? Die cap: Yours is a struck through a die cap. _imag.jpg) On my image files I have less struck through a die cap on dimes. So they happen less often.
