Just FANTASTIC! I was absolutely stunned by the images of this collection! Thank you for posting and congratulations on this monumental achievement! Edit: I just spent an hour looking through some of the coins on your PCGS Registry page! You have some amazing coins! I'm making a new favorites link for my browser so I can quickly return to your sets on PCGS.com. WOW! Another Edit: Still looking through the coins. I love the heavy die clash on the 1864 1C Bronze MS66+ RD coin.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

It's unbelievable. This is a wonderful set. Congratulations to you! P.S. It's scary to imagine how much this set can cost.

Is 1885 - 1899 missing from the pictures?

Quote: Is 1885 - 1899 missing from the pictures? You are absolutely correct! Thanks so very much for bringing this to my attention. When I have a chance on Tuesday, I'll show the missing photo in a reply to this thread. Since 24 hours have passed since my initial post, I don't think I'll be allowed to swap photos in my OP. Steve

Since 24 hours have passed since my initial post, I don't think I'll be allowed to swap photos in my OP. I wanted to get a look at that disgraceful 1890 that you mentioned . (it's probably nicer than my best example ) It's a beautiful set, probably some of the very best examples of the series all in one place. It strikes me that this set would have been much work to assemble even as a contemporary set - i.e., in the 1859-1909 period as the coins were being minted. It is a humbling thought that multiple people - collectors - pulled these coins aside and they survived all these years in their current condition. Without that, we current collectors have nothing to collect. Most coins in our collections have taken a long and winding path to us. That's pretty cool.

Thanks for your kind words. If you go to my original post, click on the hotlink that will then bring you to my Registry set on the PCGS website. You can then click on any photo, and you will then be able to see three photos of each coin, along with the True View if there is one.
