There were a ton of these from that era. This one being above average size. I bet there were rolls of lamination error nickels when they were issued.

I installed a slate hearth on the top floor there . It was a tiny little winding staircase to get up there but I swear I
only bumped the walls a couple of times. I didn't do that much damage!

Will be repaired do not worry IJN. Stone try but the roof was like this, because the crank has a mechanical temporary problems.

Just having a bit of fun, no walls were bumped.
It was a nice experience, getting to do some work in a part of Monticello that can only be seen on special tours.

It sure would be neat to come across the cornerstone with a time capsule in it. Or maybe there was a cent from when it was built or remodeled set into a stone somewhere?
