with Dearborn and Coinfrog, but I might safely upgrade the condition to a F-12 at highest since the 22-Ds are plagued with weak strikes. The reverse is definitely weakly struck.
Just extreme die wear on the devices moving towards the rim. That year was know for over polished dies that removed the mintmarks. Because of the over polishing, the dies were polished away and they needed more, but told to use the dies anyway. Thus the missing 'D' that year. (None were struck at Philly that year. 1933 saw a thin run for the mints. 1933 and 1933-D cents and 1933-S Half dollars were the only runs for that year. (Bad time to be out of work that year)
