Hmm it would surprise me if those were all stray circulation marks so seems likely to be a RPM to me. I'm interested to see what others think.

That thing is huge in comparison to the natural looking mm. Here's a side by side with VV's MMS-008 and your example. As big and puffy as yours is, I'm leaning towards a worn out punch.

IMHO we see here an reuse retried proof Die which was re-polish.

Thanks for commenting, I guess it could be Die Deterioration. There is a nub extending off the upper serif East which you can see better in this photo.

That last image leaves no doubt in my mind it is an RPM. Clear separation and extra thickness.

I wrote from the first pics. Now I see different. IMHO it is not an big RPM but show to be. We will see what Wexler will say. Hard to spot this one. Congrats. It is an RPM S to N.
I am not sure, but will be the firs RPM S for this year.

Thanks, I got a response from Charles Daughtrey (Coppercoins) and he was confident it is not a RPM saying the ridge on the lower curve is from the base of the MM punch and is common on the 70S cents. JWex didn't get back to me.
