Given the images posted, I'm not seeing any doubling. There may (may...) be a subtle lamination issue running through the T in CENT. Can't quite tell.

I agree with @ijn: no obvious doubling and a little lam on the reverse. How much did you pay for this cent?

The hub doubling would be on other area on the reverse doubled dies:

1955-1-Cent-Brown-DDO?-And-DDR?
1955-1-Cent-Brown-DDO?-And-DDR?
Best to know what to look for first on the doubled dies. What makes them. If you were going to look for something you didn't know what to look for, then it is good to read information on the subject first. So Check out the threads on the sites, to see what is a DDO or DDR first. Then you will know more as to what is a DDR. There are areas to search first to know what to look for. So these are free on line. You just have to know what/why they are doubled dies. Then you have a better idea on where and how to look on these coins for the the different series of coins. Some changed also because of different die making processes.
Variety Vista list no DDR's that year from Denver:
http://www.varietyvista.com/01a%20L...Listings.htm
Coppercoins list none

Wexler lists some obverses, the reverses are also on that page lower down:
http://www.doubleddie.com/616834.html

Looking at other listings for different years/mints, will also train your eyes on what to look for on doubled dies. But if you need help with an issue, start a new thread and we can post information that will fit your needs. In the mean time check out the links above to see what you a missing in information first.

A lot of questions that you have not even thought of yet are already answered on CoopHome. Just click on that link and work backwards from page 23 back. The questions and answers are there at a pace that it is always there. Find answers to questions you wondered about there. The link is also on the page on the forum on the upper line area. (the first lines word is "Sticky" The link is also there. The box looks like this:
1955-1-Cent-Brown-DDO?-And-DDR?

Neither a DDO or a DDR, just a worn out cent with post mint damage.
