You guys were obviously correct and coins with barely readable dates are not worth it.. Not worth the hassle & straining my eyes.. This is my first and last purchase of a coin with a barely readable date unless slabbed.. A 1923 s & 1924 s for comparison I could see an argument for either a 1924 or 1923 The sharp slant could either be from the 3 or the 4. I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set \| Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better? Report this Post to the Staff

It appears similar and different at the same time.. I've been collecting for a couple years...
