Bought this and I can't figure out what this is. Dated 1874? Weight: 10.67g

The style looks like Persian and looks to be overstruck over something. I can't figure out what it is or what the original host coin is. For some reason the fern and berry looks like a Russian 2 kopek...

Here is the coin. First two is the original orientation and the last two is the same coin rotated. Struggled to get the lighting right but it looks like mocha brown color

And also attached the Russian 2 kopek for comparison

Can't see the pictures but Iranian coins were sometimes overstruck on whatever was to hand at the time....

@gx, that does look pretty promising as a host coin, but it looks like a wreath was on both sides of the coin.

Added: for what it is worth, the pics are looking fine now.

@Spence,
I still can't see the 1874 pics? Could you give advise as to my problem? Apparently @ andyg is having the same problem.

Thanks

Hmm that is very odd. Maybe clear all cookies, log out of CCF, and then sign back in?

Iranian coins often use the lion w. sun rays design and also have wreaths on both sides. I honestly cant see anything of a host design? I think it was simply struck way off centre.

see example below, these were typically very crude
