I'm new to looking for coin errors (bc I wouldn't consider myself a collector in the average sense) but I seemed to have found a quarter with what I feel is so many minting errors (and cannot find ANY information in reference to these errors!) it's making my eyes cross. I had to put said coin away bc I kept finding things that clearly happened during the minting process and was getting frustrated as I could not locate any information on these errors. I'm hoping that some of the more seasoned and or experienced in finding these types of errors could possibly help. I just need to know I'm not crazy and these are actual errors not wear & tear masquerading as errors. I'm going to figure out how to upload a photo to this post and have circled the errors that I feel pop right out. If someone could please help me figure out what all is going on with this coin I would be so very appreciative! Thanks in advance guys. Bear with me, I have no idea what I'm doing here so I will try my best not to have to post this multiple times, this very well may take me more than one attempt. I have tried to look up the picture optimizer tutorial and am not having any luck. I apologize in advance that my picture was not taken exactly as specified but it was already taken and marked by the time I found this forum. I'm sorry if I didn't do something as I was supposed to in regards to the picture. Please give me details on whether or not I need to retake a picture or send a less zoomed version of it. The new picture will not be marked bc I gave myself a headache trying to look at the enlarged image while comparing it to the actual coin. I can certainly do so another day though. (**I would be happy to send the back side of this coin or the larger files via email if needed. I was unable to do so due to the size of the one that I have already uploaded.) Other than lots of evident circulation damage, this washed-out image is pretty useless. to the CCF!

Photo is too washed out Just looks like PMD with some corrosion possible. Can you post more realistic photos of both sides of the coin?

As mentioned, need better pics. As shown, I see nothing but circulation damage.

Even with the poor picture quality, everything circled is damage.

to the CCF! The coin COULD have had some small areas of strike through when minted, but it was then damaged outside of the mint. IF it did have any errors, they are now impossible to separate from the incuse damage marks. It looks like the coin is a 'Parking Lot' coin that may have been run over repeatedly. Nothing in the minting process could have caused this.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

The error or the errors of this coins it is that circulate to much and suffer hits. A good spender or phone call.

When a car is hit by a train wreck, it doesn't matter about the damage to the car. It all happened when the car was hit. Damage to a coin makes it just a cull coin. Just a face value coin now. All the other die events that happened doesn't really matter. Just a spender now.

to the CCF and I call them lawnmower coins. One big thing that new collectors mistakenly do is thinking every ding, gouge, bump, scratch, and mark on a coin is a "mint error". They are not. There are not a lot of coins that have more than 1 or 2 errors on them from the mint. There are die events that happen to an aged die that are on coins, but anything that happens to them after being struck is damage.
