G-VG details, harshly cleaned and porous. Reverse has significant scratching, sadly, around the lower right wreath.

Also,always best to take coins out of holders whenever possible before taking photos.

Agree with all above. A nice example of why cleaning is not a recommended practice.

Another possibility beyond "cleaned" is that it was whizzed. That would give you the impression of "luster" due to all the micro scratches.

Wo I think later period Indian Head Pennies are crimson...Never know they can be such yellow .
