got this off ebay, in a fake slab. besides the weight being wrong, only 3 long sun rays instead of 4, the 99 in the date are wrong shape, trust is spelled tpust, the initials of the engraver on the reverse are too big, plus more. sent back some of you have already seen this, but thought I should let everyone else see it.sent back for refund, will see If I get any push back since I cracked the coin out of the slab

kennedy, please keep us updated on this saga. By the way, PCGS would probably like to hear about it. https://www.PCGS.com/news/counterfeit-PCGS-holdersQuote: To alert PCGS to any offerings of counterfeit PCGS holders, please notify PCGS Customer Service at info@PCGS.com. Just good enough to fool a few poor suckers. Was it underpriced?

I paid $38.89, since it was in a slab I did not look at as close as I normally do. lesson learned

Quote: it.sent back for refund, will see If I get any push back since I cracked the coin out of the slab I'm very curious as to how the Seller responds. I know that if I were the seller - and didn't realize I was selling a fake - I would not honor a return on a coin cracked out of a slab. How could I know for sure the coin hadn't been swtched?

How long ago did you buy it? If recent enough that ebay still has the listing information what are the pictures from the ebay listing / auction.

Thanks NSS - Take a look at the 'Item specifics' it clearly states 'ungraded' and 'uncertified'

They also sold the same fake May 9th and May 16th (as well as to you another one on May 16th).

update, I decided not to return the fake, the seller threatened to fight the refund since the slab was broken open and ebay agreed, since I did not return it, no refund, I have disputed the charge on my credit card, no word back. I figured since the seller sold two just like it, he would try and resell this one if he got his slimy hands on it. keeping it as a reference

You should leave a concise negative feedback for the seller.
