Today, I was going through some customer rolls from Monday, and lo and behold, when I opened up one of the rolls, to my complete surprise, it was all Wheat Cents! Here is the tally: - 1910's: 1919-P - 1920's: 1924-P, 1925-P, 1927-D - 1930's: 13 Wheat Cents - 1940's: 23 Wheat Cents, including a 1943-D Steel Cent - 1950's: 11 Wheat Cents - 1972 JFK counterstamped cent (not a Wheat cent, but still kind of cool) The tally should be mostly right, though I think there is a 40's or 50's Wheat cent from a previous roll mixed in. So a total of 50 Wheat Cents, including my very first Steel Cent! This was obviously a collection dump, but glad I was able to "intercept" it, before it went to the mint/Loomis/Brinks. Here's a picture. Cheers!

I agree sounds like a collection dump. Well done @all!

A collection dump in customer wrapped rolls is always fun.

Awesome find! Congrats!
Try to get back to that same bank and teller if you haven't already... in my experience, one great roll is often part of something much bigger.

We already cleaned them out. Will maybe try again on Monday, to see if that person brought in more. Quote: Any upgrades to your collection? Quote: We already cleaned them out. That's what I like to hear! Sometimes the tellers share rolled coins if they're short and don't want to have their managers go to the vault for a new box. That's how I stumbled on the balance of my silver dime hoard a couple of years ago - one teller had one roll and a different one had the balance (8 more rolls) a month after my initial find is when I hit the motherlode... so make sure to hit up other tellers at said branch if you get a chance.

I also found 4 customer rolls that were 100% copper yesterday (no Wheat Cents). They're not as cool as Wheat Cents, but I'll take them!
