My husband found this little gem cleaning out my mom's new property and I was wondering if it is worthwhile

Welcome to the CFF, Shanamariemoore! That's a nice off-center strike. Worth about $5 or so, but probably not a whole lot more. Now if it had the date it would be worth more.

Yes. The coins can vary in value because of how far off center they are struck, although coins with full dates that are showing are more desirable than coins without a date or missing digits. Even then its still a keeper.

Certainly worth saving in a 2x2 for safe keeping. Nice find!

Regardless of value, a lot of collectors would be happy to have it. Protect it in a 2x2. You are new to coins so go to a coin shop and ask for one.
