I've been having a lot of difficulty with the photo resizer ... So trying an external one to see how it goes... Bought this along with a 90 p and 35 S Peace dollar... Curious and hopeful the resizer worked!

Thank you all.
I'm curious on pricing of these...when I see u.s. coin shop videos on YouTube in cleaned and culled Morgan's are priced from $25-30 and peace from $22-28.
My averages on Morgan's is well within that range.
That takes into account the 84 Cc And three or four other better date coins.
I don't really get why this could at about $23.50 would be a 'hard pass'.
I'm genuinely (non confrontationally) asking...

You can price this or any coin at anything you like. We're talking about what you're likely to sell it for at a typical dealer - just bullion. Take our word for it.

$23.50 seems like an OK price. My LCS bin of these was $29.95/ea I think but I haven't been in there in several months.

Because like Frog said, this is a bullion coin.
You did well with that 84-CC, but that was pure luck.
You're going downhill and will be in the red soon enough with your "I have to buy everything" mindset.

If you are collecting for just bullion value, then you are doing great. Collect what makes you happy!

It's the PMD/Grafitti that kills it...

Thanks everyone. I don't 'have to buy everything', but when I find Morgans and Peace dollars at prices I have seen priced below retail prices in the U.S. I buy them. I fill tubes with no intention of selling any time soon. By not paying over 30 euro for Morgan or a Peace (or an ASE) I have found some coins that I think are worth much more than I paid (and about 15-20) probably worth less. 1986 ASEs for 30 or less; an 1800 cent (posted elsewhere) for less than 30 euro and a few key dates for less than 30 euro. I feel the cost-averaging on these has worked in my favor; worst case, when I sell, I take a loss on a cleaned cull and make a significant profit on another. These common date damaged coins seem to elicit a lot of 'hard passes' from forum members.

That's quite a good price and I'd probably have bought it if I'd seen it for $23.50. My local coin shop has a few similar Morgans for £30 each. Morgans tend to be expensive in the UK because of the Wild West / 'Cowboys & Indians' connotations which encourage dealers to overcharge for them, although there's always the chance that you might find a CC or an 1893-S among a load of culls.

folks you need to keep in mind that Roma2021 is in Italy and doesn't have access to nearly anything close to what is available in the US
