Tough. I'll say AU-58. Total lack of luster.

Interestingly I'm with the Frog on this one for the moment, but if possible could be an MS with weak strike issues perhaps?

Coin looks really nice milk-chocolate to me

AU. I can see some light circulation wear on the cheek.

Beautiful fields!
The apparent lack of luster leaves me at AU-58
nice one for sure!

Obverse pulls it to 58 - ever so slight wear on jaw and cheek

nice clean surfaces. even color throughout. no luster to speak of. tough call with those dull surfaces going with AU58. I'm at a really nice AU55

I think the jaw and cheek bone will hold it to AU-55.

Why 55? You could clean Lincoln's ear with a toothpick.

The ding in the lapel, and the middle of his nose, don't hold this coin to AU-53?

I don't see any wear but apparent lack of luster suggests it's not mint state. Solid strike, smooth mark-free fields, and lovely color support an AU-58 grade.

Good choice for a true Lincoln Cent lover!

It's a beautiful chocolate brown coin for sure. I'll go with the AU58 crowd.

I'm on team AU55.

There is more than a whisper of wear on the lapel, cheek, and jaw.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

the reason I called it 55 was the highest point of the devices are showing some circulation. hair, above ear, cheek bone, jaw line, lapel, all across ONE and then zero luster.

its a real nice coin and imo a high AU55
