I was searching for some coins on ebay when I came upon a seller with a massive list of rare and high dollar coins. Most I can only dream of owning but the selection is awesome. Oh my! I wonder why they have these items listed on ebay instead of selling through Great Collections or another high-end auction service. Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

I contacted this person last week about a coin and that time they said they were in the hospital and couldn't access the coins to which I responded and he followed back up with this response. Seems a bit odd.
Otherwise they are selling some amazing stuff.

I can tell you everything I sell come from an old dealer estate I only say it for crtain items but in rrality its all an dealer estate and we can't grade everything. Sp for some reason I didnt send this one in. doesn't its a problem with the coin it could be s mutitude of reasons. Unfoetunetly I'm here until next week at the earliest. I'm have a frien ship out the auctions from last night and maybe saturdays

Quite impressive indeed. An amazing listing of truly high valued coins plus bills. Why is the seller using ebay as the vehicle to sell these? Each item is easily a best seller at any of the major auction houses.  Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.artToo many hobbies .... too much work .... not enough time. |

I was a bit suspicious how anyone could have this many rare items and sell them on ebay. I looked up the business and it appears legit. Located in New York, ANA certified, etc... From the sounds of the response received by Adam126402, it sounds like it may be a foreigner selling this stuff since the English language appears jumbled. At any rate their feedback appears stellar but almost all of his offerings are well out of my wheelhouse. |

Buy rarities at auction and flip on ebay is, I'm sure, fairly profitable but I'm sure it is a challenge for sellers to deal with all the scammers and returns. Definitely need deep pockets and a lot of patience. |
