Two More Silver Dimes Found In Loomis Rolls

Earlier this month I posted two notes encouraging other CRHs to search for silver dimes in Loomis-wrapped rolls because: (1) this denomination has so little intrinsic value many people probably don't look closely at them when they receive dimes in change; and (2) where I live, circulated dimes are as abundant in Loomis rolls as in CWRs.

Today I found two silver dimes in the 10 Loomis rolls I acquired at a local bank. The 1961-P Roosevelt dime is a common one to find. But in a different roll I saw a silver coin with almost no reeding left on it. You guessed it -- another Mercury dime (a nice 1942-P ). That's my third Mercury dime this month.
