Good Evening everyone! A new purchase: PCGS AU58, which seems to be academic... Does anyone know of a bigger one still attached, or detached, or detached and mated? PCGS notes this as 35%, but I think it would peel-off to 45% or more

Very nice, but please include the date, mintmark, and denomination of your coins in the title of any of your future posts.

Very cool lamination, Oldgrouchyguy!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Very cool lam! How on earth were they able to encapsulate that? Do you have a pic of the slab?

I'm also curious what the slab looks like. Very nice specimen overall!

Congrats on an awesome lamination. Plus, the toning makes it even cooler.

The coin is held in place with the end of the lamination sandwiched and unmovable between two extra plastic rings. The case has lite stress cracks in the center from the bulge
